Joan Aleshire has published 6 books of poetry, and a novel. These poems are part of a manuscript called Magic Lantern that Four Way Books will publish in the fall of 2026. She taught in the MFA Program at Warren Wilson College and lives in Vermont, where she is a library trustee and the treasurer of the Shrewsbury Agricultural Education & Art Foundation (SAGE).
