Clay Ventre‘s first book of poetry, It’s Not Love Till Someone Loses an Eye, was published in 2023 and was a finalist for the Nossrat Yassini Poetry Prize. He has work published in Souvenir Lit Journal, Jubilat, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, Lily Poetry Review, Soundings East, The Arts Fuse, and others.
