Clay Ventre‘s first book of poetry, It’s Not Love Till Someone Loses an Eye, was published in 2023 and was a finalist for the Nossrat Yassini Poetry Prize. He has work published in Souvenir Lit Journal, Jubilat, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, Lily Poetry Review, Soundings East, The Arts Fuse, and others. He lives in New England where he edits the Incessant Pipe poetry journal.
