Austin Reece

Austin Reece, PhD, is Director of Survivor Empowerment at Lotus Legal Clinic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he leads therapeutic arts programming and poetry workshops for survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking and is editor of Untold Stories Magazine which publishes survivor writings alongside visual art responses from community artists. He also teaches philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. His writings have appeared in books and magazines, most recently in Restorative Justice: Promoting Peace and Wellbeing (New York: Springer, 2022) and Bramble Literary Magazine (Summer 2022). He lives with his wife, Rebecca, in a house made of cream city bricks.
