Michael McGriff is the author of several books centered on place, class, and blue-collar life in the rural American West, most recently the poetry collections Eternal Sentences (University of Arkansas Press, 2021) and Early Hour (Copper Canyon Press, 2017). He co-directs the creative writing program at the University of Idaho.
